Social Innovation Lab Concludes Incubation Phase and Prepares for DemoDay
Yemen – The Rowad Foundation announced that the Social Innovation Lab has successfully concluded its incubation phase, during which the participating startups underwent an intensive training period. This phase included 9 public workshops, 3 public sessions, 30 private sessions, and continuous mentorship from experts and specialists across various fields.
This phase was crucial in developing ideas and transforming them into market-ready projects. With its conclusion, the Social Innovation Lab is now preparing for the biggest event in these projects' journey: DemoDay. On this day, the startups will have a unique opportunity to showcase their achievements to potential investors, as DemoDay serves as a platform to connect innovators with the funding necessary to take their projects to the next level.
The participants expressed their gratitude for the support and guidance they received during the incubation period, noting that this experience was a cornerstone in the development of their projects and the expansion of their horizons.
Najah Al-Shawafi, the Lab Coordinator, confirmed that preparations for DemoDay are well underway, with a promise to deliver an exceptional event that highlights the best innovations and contributes to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
All eyes will be on DemoDay as a prime opportunity to invest in the ambitious ideas developed during the incubation phase. The event is expected to attract significant participation from the investor community, startups, civil society organizations, and a group of experts and consultants in the agricultural sector and entrepreneurship.
